Ivan Krstic, Negovan Stamenkovic, Milena Petrovic and Vidosav Stojanovic

Abstract
Architecture of binary to residue number system encoder based on the moduli set {2n-1, 2n, 2n+1}, and architecture of encoder with modulo 2n+1 channel in the diminished-1 representation instead of the standard modulo 2n+1 channel are presented. We consider the binary numbers with dynamic range of proposed moduli set which is 23n-2n. Within this dynamic range, 3n-bit binary number is partitioned into three n-bit parts and converted to standard residue numbers, or converted to two standard residues and a residue in the diminished-1 representation. Our approach enables a unified design for the moduli set adders. The proposed architecture can be utilized in conjunction with any fast binary adder without requiring any extra hardware. The encoder architecture with diminished-1 encoded channel has been mapped on an Xilinx FPGA chip.

Drowsy Driver Detection System
Aashish Joshi, Anil Dhanawade, Madhuri Kashid, Sonali Palve

Abstract
Driver fatigue is a significant factor in a large number of vehicle accidents. The development of technologies for detecting drowsiness at the wheel is a major challenge in the field of accident avoidance systems. Because of the hazard that drowsiness presents on the road, methods need to be developed for counteracting its affects. The main aim of this is to develop a drowsiness detection system by monitoring the eyes; it is believed that the symptoms of driver fatigue can be detected early enough to avoid a car accident. Detection of fatigue involves the observation of eye movements and blink patterns. The analysis of face images is a popular research area with applications such as face recognition, and human identification security systems. This project is focused on the localization of the eyes, which involves looking at the entire image of the eye, and determining the position of the eyes, by a self-developed image-processing algorithm.

Design and Implementation of 10Gbps All-Optical 2R Regenerator
Soe Soe Hnaung

Abstract
An All-optical 2R regenerator (Reamplification and Reshaping) is a crucial element in optical communication systems in order to increase transmission performance. In this paper, an all-optical 2R regenerator is implemented by self-phase modulation (SPM) based spectral broadening and offset filtering. Design calculations of the required parameters for the proposed 2R regenerator are carried out. Simulation results in terms of power transfer and bit error rate (BER) measurements are shown to prove the effectiveness of the proposed system. After the optical signal has been degraded by 500 km- long transmission span, the 2R regenerator in this work can reshape the degraded signal by achieving only 0.3dB power penalty at BER of 10-9.

A Study to Assess Knowledge Management Practices by Enabling Taxonomy in Software Firms in India
Anjali Rai

Abstract
Purpose:- The purpose of the study is to investigate the role of taxonomies within a knowledge management framework. This research paper is exploring the concept of taxonomies for organizational content. Knowledge can be defined as a fluid mix of framed experience, values, contextual information and expert insight that provides a framework for evaluating and incorporating new experiences and information (Davenport & Prusak 1998). Taxonomy is a hierarchy of categories which classify documents and other information. The corporate taxonomy is a way of representing the information available within an organization (Woods 2004).

Design/Methodology:- The research questions and hypotheses were developed on review of the literature. The research was carried out on 250 employees of software firms. The Method of data analysis was the correlation coefficient and regression that performed by using spss software.

Findings:-The results of this study will provide insight information about organizational taxonomy. Taxonomies, as a tool, focus on improving access, retrieval of information and knowledge by providing structured information. Structured information helps to prevent overload information & provide identification, retrieval of critical information and knowledge resources within the organization.

Managerial Implications:- Taxonomy is commonly used to help classify the types of "types" that are associated with Data, Information, and Knowledge.

Future scope:- This study should be repeated on a regular basis, or after major changes in the organizational structure of the Organization.

Limitations:- The research was carried out only on 250 employees.

Subtheme:- HRM & OB.

Security of Database for Data Miner with Help of Perturbed Technique
Prasannta Tiwari, Hitesh Gupta

Abstract
Today data holder want to utilize and release data to third party for analyzing or researching however, but they not required to disclosing any individual data within its privacy interval to anyone. Here find the answer to what extent confidential information in a perturbed database can be compromised by attackers or snoopers. key of element is preserving privacy and confidentiality of data is the ability to evaluate the extent of all potential disclosure for the data. Several randomized techniques have been proposed for privacy preserving data mining of continuous data. These approaches generally attempt to hide the important data by randomly modifying the important data values using some additive noise and aim to reconstruct the original distribution closely at an aggregate level. The main contribution of this paper lies in the algorithm to accurately reconstruct the community joint density given the perturbed multidimensional stream of data information. Any statistical question about the community can be answered using the reconstructed joint density. In our research objective is to determine whether the distributions of the original and recovered of important data are close enough to each other despite the nature of the noise applied. We are considering an ensemble clustering method to reconstruct the initial data distribution.

Rahul Mishra, Rajeev Ranjan Tiwari, Anil Kumar

Abstract
An experimental study is performed to investigate the performance of 10 year old PV panel under tilted fixed mount and tilted single axis tracking mode. Manufacturer estimated the life of PV panel between 15 & 20 year. Study gives an idea about the performance of half aged PV panel in fixed mode and also suggests the utility of sun tracking system to enhance the performance of half aged PV panel. The experiment was conducted at MANIT, Bhopal (23o 16’ N, 77o 36’ E) in 23o tilted fixed mount on 24 April, 15 May & 04 June 2013 and in tracking mode 25 April, 16 May and 05 June 2013 during 9:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. It is observed that the average electrical efficiency of the PV panel decreased and remains 2.08 % due to ageing effect. But it is found that the electrical efficiency during 9:00-11:00 hrs and 13:00- 17:00 hrs increased in tracking mode and becomes 2.38 %.

Microcontroller Based System for Bore-Well 3-Phase Motor to Avoid Dry Running
Aashish Joshi, Ashish Mali, Avdhut Jadhav, Nagesh Chavan

Abstract
In summer day’s it is commonly observed that water in the bore wells of farmers cannot flow continuously. Reason behind that issue may be less rain or scarcity of water in area etc. India is one of the countries who mostly face this problem. If there is no water available in the bore-well still motor runs then there is possibility of burn out of motor winding & emplers. To avoid this problem we have to take precautions by designing auto timer which will run the motor when water is available and stop the motor when water is unavailable. This issue can be solved by assembly language programming of the system with On-Off delay.

Basic Multicopter Control with Inertial Sensors
Saw Kyw Wai Hin Ko, Kyaw Soe Lwin

Abstract
In the world of photography, surveillance of larger areas and military operations, the immediate machines that accommodate the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) category are the autonomous aeroplane and helicopter. Helicopters have clear advantages over the aeroplanes. They can be able to hover and land/take off in limited spaces. The quad rotor is a helicopter that has four rotors which are fixed to a certain spin axis. The different spinning directions of the motors balance the torques on their associated axes, therefore eliminating the need for a tail rotor that a normal helicopter requires. As long as all four rotors rotate at the same speed, the quad rotor helicopter essentially hovers, this proving to be a less complex in mechanical structure. Researches are being done to improve the reliability and decrease the size of such vehicles. So, they can be used in Search and Rescue operations, surveillance, inspection, aerial photography and aerial mapping.
