A Quantitative Erudition of Occupational Stress in Information Technology Professionals
B. Prathyusha, Ch. S. Durga Prasad and M. Sudhir Reddy

Abstract
Occupational Stress is an inevitable consequence in the Information Technology (IT) sector. The IT professionals are characterized with long working hours, tight schedules, high competition, continuous viewing of Visual Display Unit (VDU) and etc., are taking their toll which is leading to Occupational Stress. In this scenario, the current study was undertaken to measure occupational stress among IT Professionals. The sample comprised of 500 IT Professionals working in various IT corporates in Hyderabad, Telangana State. The Occupational Stress Index (OSI) developed by Srivastava A. K. and Singh A. P. (1984) was used for data collection. The data obtained was analysed using descriptive statistics. The results clinched that the IT Professionals are experiencing high levels of stress.

Generalized Representation of the Planer Kinematic Chains having Different Types of Kinematic Pairs
Sayeed Ahamad, Aas Mohammad

Abstract
Development of the method for generalizing the planer kinematic chains having same number of links but different kinematic pairs. By using link-link form of the incidence matrix or [JJM] Matrix. and elements of the matrix was chosen as one and zero depending on the absence or presence of a direct kinematic connection in between the joints, we found that kinematic chains having same number of link and different kinematic pair are isomorphic but in real practice it should be different. To overcome this problem we are trying to develop a different set of matrix called kinematic pair matrix.

Implementation of License Plate Recognition System in ARM Cortex A8 Board
S. Uma, M. Sharmila

Abstract
Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) is a computer system which automatically recognizes the license plate from the digital image ie. from captured image of vehicle. This system involves various processes such as Image Capturing, Localization of Number Plate, Segmentation of characters and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) of the alphanumeric characters. The main aim of this system is to design and develop an efficient image processing techniques and algorithms for localization of license plate in captured image, segmentation of characters from that license plate and recognition of each characters from the segmented part using Open Computer Vision Library. This system has been implemented in single board computer called Beagle Bone Black with the support of OpenCV and python programming language. Many applications can be developed using this system such as security, highway speed detection, light violation, handwritten text identification, detecting stolen cars, and automated toll collection systems.
