Area-Power Efficient Generic Modulo Adder
I.B.K.Raju, P. Rajesh Kumar, S. Ramani Yadav

Abstract
Modular adder is a crucial component which is typically employed in Forward, Reverse and channels in a Residue Number System. In This Paper we proposed a Novel generic modulo adder architecture which is based on Look ahead Carry logic by which hardware sharing is exploited and eliminated the re-computation of carry in the final stage. VLSI Implementation results using 180 nm standard cell Technology shows that the hardware requirement and power dissipation in proposed architecture is superior to other reported architectures.

An Power Efficient RNS Backward Converter for Novel Moduli Set {2^(2n+1),2^2n-1,2^2n+1}
I.B.K.Raju, P. Rajesh Kumar, Ch. Divya

Abstract
In this paper we propose new 3-moduli set 〖{2〗^(2n+1),2^2n-1,2^2n+1} for a large dynamic range of 6n-bits.Adder based RNS backward converter for this 3- moduli set is proposed based on New Chinese Remainder Theorem-I to achieve high performance. Hardware architecture of the proposed converter employs only Carry Save Adders (CSAs) and Carry Propagate Adders (CPAs). We implemented the proposed backward converter for different widths using standard cell 180nm CMOS technology libraries and result analysis indicated that, the proposed converter achieves about 20% power reduction over the other equivalent state of the art backward converters.

Analysis of a Bulk Arrival Bulk Service Queueing Model for Non Reliable Server
Sanjeet Singh, Naveen Kapil

Abstract
In this paper, we study the optimal operation of a single removable and non-reliable server in a Markovian queuing system under steady-state conditions. The system is in idle state before the arrival of customer and after the arrival of customer it is in working state, it may breakdown and systems goes to vacation during that period. Here, there is bulk arrival of customer and bulk service provided to them. Inter-arrival and service time distributions of customers are assumed to be exponentially distribution. Breakdown and repair time distributions of the server are assumed to be exponentially distributed.

Design and Implementation of Efficient Modulo 2n+1 Adder
V. Jagadheesh, Y. Swetha

Abstract
In this brief, we proposed an efficient weighted modulo (2n +1) adders. This is achieved by modifying existing diminished-1 modulo (2n +1) adders to incorporate simple correction schemes. Our proposed adders can produce modulo sums within the range {0, 2n}, which is more than the range {0, 2n − 1} produced by existing diminished-1 modulo (2n +1) adders. And our proposed adder gives better performance in terms of area and power when compared with previously existing architectures. We have implemented the proposed adders using 0.18-µm technology, and also compared the performance parameters of those adders.

An Power Efficient New CRT Based Reverse Converter for Moduli Set {2^n+1,2^n-1,2^2n,2^(2n+1)-1}
I.B.K.Raju, P. Rajesh Kumar, Ch. Divya

Abstract
The 4-moduli{2^2n,2^(2n+1)-1,2^n+1,2^n-1} set has been recently proposed for large dynamic range of 6n-bits .for this 4-moduli set reverse converter design based on New CRT-1 and MRC has already been proposed. In this paper we propose reverse converter design for 4-moduli set{2^2n,2^(2n+1)-1,2^n+1,2^n-1}based on New CRT-II theorem to achieve more efficient residue number system(RNS) than the former one. The design is achieved using carry save adders and carry propagate adders only i.e. it is purely adder based. We implemented the proposed reverse converter design on a standard 180nm CMOS technology and when compared with the other equivalent state of art converters it has indicated about 34% better performance in terms of power.

Analysis of Bulk Queueing Model with Non Reliable Server
Sanjeet Singh, Naveen Kapil

Abstract
Here we will study bulk service to customer under optimal operation of a single removable and non-reliable server in Markovian queueing system under steady-state conditions. The decision maker can turn a server on at customer’s arrival or off at service completion. Here it is assumed that the server may breakdown only if working and requires repair at repair facility. Inter-arrival and service time distributions of the customers are assumed to be exponentially distributed. Breakdown and repair time distributions of the server are assumed to be exponentially distributed. The following cost structure is incurred to be system; a holding cost for each customer in the system per unit time, cost per unit time when a server fails, and fixed costs for turning the server on or off. The expected cost function per unit time is developed to obtain the optimal operating policy at minimum cost.

Automization of Rationing System
Shivabhakt Mhalasakant Hanamant, Suraj V. S., Moresh Mukhedkar

Abstract
In this system the proposed concept is to replace the manual work in public distribution system. India’s PDS is the largest retail system in the world. Ration distribution is one of controversial issues that involves corruption and illegal smuggling of goods. All these things happen because all the work at ration shop involves manual intervention. The illegal activities like, wrong entry in register about amount of product in the shop, selling the products in other shop with high rates, adding impurities to the grains. People don’t have the idea about how much grain is allotted to them for this munch. [3]In this paper we are automizing the distribution system at the ration shop as well as we are maintaining the database at one main control station and updating the database so that the shopkeeper do not cheat the poor people. RFID tag is used for authentication and the automatic distribution is done with microcontroller. [1]For updation GSM is used. [4]Along with updation GSM is used to alert the customer about the arrival if goods in the shop and to inform that Govt. has allotted this much quantity for them.

Perception of Customers Regarding Factors for Selection of a Bank
Parmila

Abstract
The resent years have witnessed significant developments in international banking. Competition, disintermediation, new services and unique promotion schemes are some of the emerging features of changing international banking scenario. The globalization of financial markets has been further accelerated by the development of technology particularly in the field of information technology and electronic banking system. Now the customers are also more informed and learned to choose a better bank for themselves. Again, on the managerial side, the Narasimham Committee has made a strong plea for full autonomy of the commercial banks in India with RBI as supervising and controlling authority. So, the major problem before the commercial banks is their long-run survival and forging way ahead by retaining their valued customers. This paper examines the customers’ the perception of customers regarding factors for selection of a bank. Customers of two leading private sector banks HDFC & ICICI target population for the research, while sampling frame includes customers of these two banks in Sonipat district of Haryana state.

Growing Importance of Mascot & their Impact on Brand Awareness – A Study of Young Adults in Bhubaneswar City
Sagyan Sagarika Mohanty

Abstract
The paper explores theoretically and empirically the brand and the mascot concept and their contribution towards brand. Purpose: the purpose of this research is to examine the impact of brand mascot on brand awareness and also the persuasive power of these characters in enhancing brand preference. Design/methodology/approach – The paper reports the results of a survey. A research methodology has been structured so as to carry out the research in an effective manner. This is achieved by adopting the qualitative research method of in-depth interviews and through questionnaires with the young adults (students of undergraduate technical college) in the city of Bhubaneswar who have explained the way brand mascot have been interpreted by them for different brands and used in different marketing communication program. Findings: This study has disclosed impressive insights into the topic which examines the influence of these fictional characters on various aspects of consumer brand relations.
